We are seeking an experienced Senior Associate Outsourcing Management to join our Central Outsourcing Management team. The Central Outsourcing Management team is a ‘second line of defense' function and is responsible for: establishing the guidelines & standards, training & education, monitoring & controlling, & reporting to management. The successful candidate will have a direct hand in shaping the future of this function and contribute to the success of the overall organization.
- Interact with company-wide stakeholders by supporting and catering out the Third Party Risk Assessment process
- Ensure Third Party Risk Re- Assessment Process is completed
- Ensuring the Outsourcing Register is up to date
- Support the implementation of the outsourcing methodology as well as the associated tools, templates, reporting standards and escalation processes
- Support the department in defining the relevant key performance indicators, key risk indicators and relevant reporting
- Support the monitoring of the regular performance evaluation of the departments based on defined KPIs and KRIs
- Carry out 2nd level controls and sample testing
- Support the set up of contingency plans as well as exit & termination strategies by the department and actively monitor any further need for action
- Prepare and continuously update training materials
- Ensuring timely reporting of the SLAs and KRIs across all business lines
- Review contracts for relevant regulatory clauses
What you need to be successful:
Background:
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Economics, or other relevant areas
- Experience in Sourcing, Vendor Risk, Risk Management, Outsourcing management
Skills:
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills, creativity, critical thinking, as well as ability to identify problems and propose solutions
- Excellent communication skills both on technical and on managerial level
- Keen in building up in-depth knowledge of banking regulation and common industry standards
- Hands-on approach and eagerness to tackle new topics while demonstrating a quick grasp in conceptual project work and strategic thinking
- Fluency in English is required, fluency in German is a plus
- Strong topic ownership and bias for action
- Critical thinking and drive to improve the status quo
- Passion for risk management, internal controls, and complex problem-solving
- Both attention to details and strong conceptual thinking
- Flexibility in a fast-changing and agile environment
